What’s in Store for You?
Explore two challenging French sound pairs each day and overcome common stumbling blocks for English speakers. With simple mouth and tongue adjustments, master these sounds that will bring you closer to an authentic French accent.

Here’s what on le menu…
✨ Day 1: U vs OU – We’ll unravel the mystery behind the U and OU sounds. Learn the secret mouth and tongue positions, practise with engaging exercises, and conquer the art of pronouncing these tricky sounds effortlessly.
✨ Day 2: AN vs ON (Nasal Vowels) – The fun activities I have planned will make distinguishing between the nasal vowel sounds AN and ON a breeze. Say goodbye to confusion and hello to precision!
✨ Day 3: Open EU vs Closed EU – We’ll explore the nuances between the open and closed EU sounds. Mastering the difference between these two sounds will elevate your pronunciation to new heights!

How does the challenge work?
1. Sign-up via this page and receive a welcome email with a link to the pop-up Facebook group. Request to join the Facebook group – I will be swinging open the doors on Saturday 1st February for a “Pre-party” mingle!
2. Get to know other participants in the pop-up Facebook group as we have some “pre-party” fun over the weekend.
3. Monday 3rd February – check your inboxes for an email from me with the PDF for the first day. Repeat on Tuesday and Wednesday!
4. Check out the short daily training videos each day in the pop-up Facebook group. These will be available to watch on replay to suit all timezones.
5. Complete the mini-tasks in the daily PDFs and share with me in the Facebook group! It’s easier to do this each day, but I know that life can get in the way, so you have until midday (UK) on Saturday 8th February to complete the challenge.

Will I get to interact with others?
Yes, you’ll be able to chat with other challenge participants in threads, support others, and post about your progress in the Facebook Group.

What if I’m not based in Europe?
Worried that you can’t watch the daily video in the morning due to other commitments or time zones? Pas de panique !
The videos will be available to watch on replay – meaning you can give your mouth a workout at a time that suits you best!
